Update – 13th November 2020

With slightly more trepidation than usual, given today’s date, we’ve just released a minor update to Trax, improving a few aspects of the user experience – and making it clearer what is going on where.

  • Changed the sizes and colour of ‘check out’ buttons
  • Reorganised the Venue action links (and buttons on the Venue/QR page)
  • Now show archived Venues separately on the list page
  • Made our logo a bit bigger in emails we send you
  • Tidied up the ‘reset password’ page
  • Fix an error if you tried to sign up a second time with the same email

There are some really exciting changes coming up soon which we can’t wait to share with you.. just watch this space!

Update – 10th November 2020

We are very excited to release the latest set of improvements to Trax which include some features we have been working on for some time. This update also launches our ‘plus’ account, which offers extended features such as the ability to create a Visitor Log which you can use to track – and view – visitors to your premises (such as a work site or office), as well as keeping a separate copy of data for COVID Contact Tracing.

  • Plus Account & Visitor Log functionality – a log of visitors which you can browse and search as necessary
  • 7 day rolling summary chart showing check-ins by venue
  • Ability to (permanently) archive one of your venues if no longer required
  • Customers can now check-out from the email receipt (and on screen confirmation page) when they are leaving
  • Your Dashboard has been updated to be a bit tidier and so that we can add more information in the future
  • Our email messages have been giving a bit of TLC so they look neater and it’s clearer what you can do from each message

Update – 12th October 2020

Based on recent activity and the likelihood of Contract Tracing requests becoming more common in the coming weeks, we’ve released a few small fixes and one new tool.

  • Centered the text on some of the pages as it was irritating us!
  • If you choose to cancel your subscription, it now goes back to being a trial.
  • Payment receipt emails now indicate the amount of the payment.
  • If you go to ‘Venues’ and then ‘Data Request’ there is a form allowing you to submit a request for a section of your data, should you need to do so in order to comply with a Contact Tracing request.

Update – 5th October 2020

Over the past few weeks we have made a number of small changes and improvements to Trax, these include:

  • Adding a simple form you can complete to enter any records you are keeping on paper into Trax so you don’t have data in two places (just go to Venues > Actions > Manual Records to try it out)
  • Adding an easy form (just above) for you to use to join our updates mailing list so you don’t miss these announcements
  • Adding a link which customers can click if they check in without meaning to, more than once, etc
  • A few small fixes and some ground-work for new features coming soon

Update – 24th August 2020

The first of our new features is here!

If you go to view your QR codes now, you’ll see each one has a unique four letter (or number) code at the bottom. If a guest can’t use the camera on their phone to check in, they can go directly to https://trax.je/in and enter this code to check in to your venue.

If you view your list of venues by clicking ‘Venues’ above, you’ll be able to see what the code for each of them is.

Update – 20th August 2020

Subscriptions are now online! We hope you’ve all enjoyed your time using Trax while we’ve waited to get our payment provider accounts organised, but now it’s time to start your ‘real’ free trial. We’ve given everyone a week from today to finish evaluating Trax, but if you’re happy we’d ask you to sign up at your convenience to ensure uninterrupted service.

If you are a registered Jersey charity, please get in touch so that we can set you up with a free for life account!

Update – 2nd August 2020

New – simple point-of-sale documents which you can print! Go to ‘Venues’ and ‘View Docs’ and you can generate an A3, A4 or A5 document either in Portrait or Landscape, which you can print from your browser for use in your Venue. We will be adding more templates to this shortly.

We have also announced the pricing for the basic tier of Trax – known as Trax Essentials. A monthly subscription of £5.00 per venue, per month will be charged for all accounts once the initial one week free trial period (from the date of sign up) has passed.

We would also mention that a ‘fair use’ policy is in place and if you intend to use Trax in an environment where a large number of people will be checking in over a short period of time (such as an event open to the public), we ask that you please talk to us first!
