Finally! A real sense of change as here in Jersey, Government contact tracing has now come to an end. While this is welcome news, we know it also presents some challenges for those businesses who feel a moral or social duty to continue protecting their clientele as best as they can.
Possible Exposure Notifications
That’s why we have now added the ability to send Potential Exposure Notifications. From the Venue Settings page, you can opt to send a notification. Once you pick the date in question, all customers who checked in with an email address on that day will receive a short, generic message advising them that you’ve been notified of a possible exposure and asking them to follow the relevant local guidance.
Only one exposure notification can be issued per date and right now only via email – but it provides a means for you to let your customers know for example if a member of staff has tested positive, giving them confidence that you have their health and safety at heart.
Custom Fields
For Plus users, it is now also possible to add Custom Fields to your Trax form from the Venue Settings page. This means you can supplement the standard check-in information with anything you need. The types are flexible, but use cases include Vehicle Registration numbers, Name of Person you are Visiting or even Ratings.
It’s also possible to turn off the Contact Details section so that it can be used as a purely anonymous feedback form (such as a Facilities Cleanliness survey).
The Future
These features pave the way to the future for Trax, as we focus on different sorts of interactions and ways of communicating with customers and visitors. Our goal as ever is to help you to manage both their experience and their safety in a secure, modern way.
